Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern all transactions between the customer and New Olton Services (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”). By placing an order with the Company, the customer agrees to the following terms:
1. Ownership of Materials
All materials provided by the Company remain the property of New Olton Services until the invoice has been paid in full. Payment methods accepted include bank transfer (preferred), cheque made payable to the Company, or cash.
2. Payment Terms
Payment must be made immediately upon the completion of installation unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Risk and Liability
The risk in the goods shall pass to the customer once the installation has been completed. The Company will not be held responsible for any loss or damage after installation.
4. Access for Installation
The customer agrees to provide the Company reasonable access to the property during normal working hours on the installation date specified in the order. If the property is rented, the customer is responsible for coordinating access with the landlord or letting agent at the time of order.
5. Utilities
The customer agrees to provide the Company with a reasonable amount of free use of water and electricity during installation.
6. Care of Property
While the Company will take reasonable care of the customer’s property and will complete the installation to the best of its ability, it is not liable for any redecoration or repairs required post-installation.
7. Additional Costs
The contract price does not include the costs associated with lintels, hidden services, or hazardous materials such as asbestos discovered during installation unless specifically agreed at the time of the order. Should any such issues arise, the Company will inform the customer and provide a separate quotation for any additional work required.
8. Guarantee Exclusions
The Company’s product guarantee covers general wear and tear but does not cover any misuse of the goods.
9. Removal of Fixtures
The Company is not responsible for the removal or damage of blinds, radiators, electrical wiring, telephone/internet cables, bells, net curtains, or any similar items. If work cannot begin due to these obstructions, the Company may charge for labour to remove and refit such items.
10. Site Cleanliness
The Company will clean the worksite to a reasonable standard upon completion of the installation. However, the Company is not liable for any small shards of glass, splinters, or other fragments that may remain after cleaning.
11. Late Changes to the Order
Changes to the order may be made up until the manufacturing process begins. If the goods have already been manufactured, any material costs will be passed on to the customer.
12. Guarantee Period
The product guarantee will commence immediately upon completion of the installation.
13. Right to Cancel
The customer has the right to cancel the order by providing written notice no later than 30 days before the scheduled installation date.
14. Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
